Guilford Street Laboratories launches ImmunoTADA™ for in patient NHS use to support Fabry disease care.

London, UKMay 2026 — Guilford Street Laboratories (GSL) today announced the successful launch of ImmunoTADA™ - a mass spectrometry-based anti-drug antibody test in partnership with the NHS - into in-patient clinical use for patients living with Fabry disease. This marks the first availability of the ImmunoTADA™ immune profiling test as an in vitro diagnostic, delivered from an ISO15189 accredited setting.

This milestone has been made possible through our collaboration with the Neurometabolic Unit at
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and supported by an arm’s-length medical grant from Chiesi UK.

ImmunoTADA™ provides a novel, highly sensitive approach to immune monitoring by delivering fully quantitative immune response profiling across all commercially available therapies, that enables clinicians to better understand patient specific biology. Its potential clinical value, now being evaluated in a real-world setting, lies in its ability to quantify anti-enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) antibody status in Fabry patients.

Originally developed by GSL’s academic founders, with support from the Great Ormond Street Hospital Biomedical Research Centre and UCL Translational Research Office, the platform has evolved from translational research into a fully operational clinical tool. The availability of ImmunoTADA™ for in patient NHS use represents a significant step forward for Fabry disease management, supporting clinicians with actionable immune insights that can inform personalised therapeutic decisions and improve real world outcomes.

“Bringing ImmunoTADA™ into NHS in patient use for Fabry disease represents a major advance for precision immunology in rare metabolic disorders,” said Dr Tomas Baldwin, CEO of GSL. “This marks the first time patients will directly benefit from ImmunoTADA™ in routine clinical pathways. Our partnership with the Neurometabolic Unit at Queen Square, supported by Chiesi Ltd, allows us to generate real world clinical evidence and demonstrate the meaningful value this technology can bring to patient care.”

The rapid analytical turnaround provided by ImmunoTADA™ empowers clinicians to make time sensitive, data driven decisions for patients undergoing complex treatment regimens, where precise immune understanding is essential.

GSL will continue working closely with NHS partners, specialist centres, and the rare disease community to expand access and evaluate additional applications of ImmunoTADA™ in metabolic and immune mediated diseases.
